The Evolution of the Annotation Industry

The annotation industry started roughly about 20 years ago with this early rise of machine learning on structured data. Then there was a second wave that started roughly seven, 10 years ago when the machine learning algorithms got better and better for structured data. And now as we have grown a little bit more in the last few years starting from 2020s, the data centricity of AI became a prevalent driver which gave rise to companies like Norco. I think chat GPTs will bring another huge wave to this and another huge acceleration of what's going on here in the dataCentric AI.
