Expo has released an advisory 23-004, it fixes a vulnerability that does allow local users to execute arbitrary scripts. The link fixed two flaws in its DBU8 network management suite. These flaws do allow authentication bypass as well as arbitrary code execution. Originally, these vulnerabilities were reported to be linked by the Trent Micro Saturday Initiative 5.
