Is Crying a Cause of Reflux in a Baby?

In a patient where you do see the parent complaining of more than that, number of hours of crying, often the assumption, especially among certain cultural groups is that it is caused by reflux. Is there any evidence to bear that out? Is crying more, does that increase your suspicion for a gird with a D? In some way maybe it makes me less suspicious for reflux because people have done a lot of studies,. Studies in which they've co-related video camera monitoring with pH monitoring and they found absolutely no correlation whatsoever in amount of crying or arching.
