What's Your Brain Doing to Control Your Actions?

In psychology, a group of things which are similar or treated as equivalent is called a category. So what your brain is constantly doing in order to control your actions and construct your experience of the world is it's constructing conceptual categories. It's re-implementing past experience that are the best guess about what's going to happen next. And those predictions are actually like your brain changing the firing of its own neurons to prepare you to see and hear and feel and do certain things. The data come in from the world and from the body and they either confirm that prediction or they change it.
