The Father's Son and Spirit Share the Same Nature
One of the big debates in Revelation studies is the extent to which we can say Jesus is divine. What homo oucias says is, no, if Jesus is doing things that God does, it's because he actually is God. So essentially, homosios helps us say, well, there's a shared nature here, even though there's a distinction of persons.
