What Can We Say About Mindfulness?
The Buddha himself claimed rather, being in physical pain towards the end of his life. And so, I don't think we're talking here about the idea that Buddhism can put a stop to suffering dead. What mindfulness is about, I think, is really about just becoming more aware of the present moment tuning into yourself and what's happening right here and now. That's beneficial. There are a lot of small scales that are indicating that it is good for you.
