Anyone who willfully denies this dogma will merit the wrath of God. It's not an option to believe in the assumption of Mary and so that's very significant because of how little evidence there is for it. Historically anathema's have been understood as that right to be a cursed of God to be thrown into the lake of fire to you know not be saved.
