Chessable End Game - How Do You Approach Openings?

chessable is increasingly offering, like Andra's Tath has more beginner oriented opening courses. I think the thing about openings is to get a feel for the style or the character of an opening. For me at my level, the short and sweet version is absolutely all I need. If I stick with that opening up to 1900, 2000, then I would go ahead and purchase the full course because that will give you more insight into it.
