Is the Proposition About the Hand?

It just feels like he would admit when I say this is a hand, that act is a communicative act. And I don't know that he would disagree with that. This makes it looks like what he's saying about sense datum being the subject of propositions is just wrong. So to say that the proposition is about this intangible private thing seems very strange to me. Well, he wants sense data not to be private, although as we get when we get into this ontological section, he's going to admit to being unclear about it. It is weird.
