Hacker News - What's Your Passion?

From day one, the passion was always have an impact in serious publishing and journalism. That's always been like the long term. This is where we want to go. We had a lot of early hurdles just to kind of getting base parity for this platform. There were all these things which are traditionally you would think easy to do, like uploading and resizing images in PHP. In Ruby, that problem has been solved a million times with existing libraries who pull them together. And once we get there, then we'll talk about what's next.
