New York Vaccines - A Case Study

The City of New York recently declared a public health emergency. It is mandating vaccinations for adults and children that require unvaccinated people to get vaccinated or face a fine. For more than a century, authorities have been trying to use vaccinations as a way of protecting public health. We wanted to know when in American history have these two sides collided. And we found a Supreme Court case from 1905 that dealt with this tension.
