How to Localize Events
I do think there's something to be said for like localizing events, not just in a country but in one particular city. I think you get a lot of different benefits and the cost benefit analysis is fundamentally different there. So why aren't the correct places bidding? Well, it's because of money and the people are awarding contracts and contractors to build stuff. And then also this is a topic that was dominating sports this offseason with the live golf tour - which was an alternative to the PGA. It does really great PR for your country to have these shots on camera and to get very, very, very rich people to travel there and look at things. That's called sport washing.
