Disability Is an Outcome of Design

The U.N World Health Organization had changed the definition of disability from the so-called medical model to the social model. In other words, rather than thinking of disability as an outcome of some sort of medical phenomenon, it is a mismatch between a person's ability and the environment which is designed they live in. So if you take back logic and you scale it broadly, then what it suggests is that disability is actually an outcome of design. That disability is designed in the society that we love. Does that make sense?
