Tesla and the Chinese government seem to be in a great relationship, but there's this overarching conflict that seems to sort of be emerging here. Elon Musk has kind of separated himself from the US government in terms of his own dealings with the Chinese government. So I do think there's a caginess to what Musk has done in order to create some air cover for Tesla as a business which is entirely distinct from this bare knuckles fight between the US and China.
