In the 19 fifties and sixties, were some of the earliest presumptions that computers were like human brains. You can call this a sort of classic cartesian dualism of artificial intelligence. Where as an actural fact, what we see with machine learning is very different to the way humans think. And so in many ways, that pulling apart that idea of intelligence was a real motivation behind doing how so they are.
