Is Your Ego Like Frankenstein?
The ego is a composite figure that is made of your feelings of inadequacy, because you know you're a split subject combined with all of these imaginary others. And that then congeals, almost like a Frankensteinian congealment, like all the parts are brought together to form an ego. Your ego was like Frankenstein. All these different parts and objects and splinterings are brought together stitch together into this hideous beast. The super ego is the sadist inside you.
