I was in shock that I was no longer a complete and utter where is my rent coming from failure. So suddenly I'm plunged into the world of success and, you know, I'm hanging out with them. It's fun to kind of be glib about those things because you can really mind humor in minimizing those things. You know, one thing I'm struck by as I read your writing is how relentlessly hard you are on yourself.
