I was definitely heading towards burnout at 20, anyway. I was really just constantly working and constantly gigging in the hope of getting that door open or getting a step ahead. After losing my job sort of thing, it really put things into perspective for me. Even before the pandemic, I'd been starting to think, well, is this what you want? Do you want to be a comedian? Have you never got any time on a weekend? It's really hard to maintain friendships. And then I lost it all and I thought that I want nothing more. I want nothingMore than to be a Comedian.
