Kant's famous for his hard line on lying, that basically it's always wrong because you couldn't universalize it. But when body deceives you fundamentally about who they are, why they're asking you questions,. That does seem to be a clear case of using you as a means to an end. And in the book i try to show that this particular argument will apply to a range of sinarios one can imagine involving spies and their human assets.
