The Importance of Abbreviations in Rails
A class is not the same thing as an abstraction. The idea is to have abstractions, concepts that mean things. If you have objects with meaning, then that can lead to understanding. And understanding is the key to be able to maintain your code over the long run in a reasonably quick way.
