The Importance of the Constitution in Chile

I wonder how massively important the actual Constitution is, or rather that at some point, you get simply tired of debating the rules of the game. What happened this first time was there's there were almost 500 different provisions, because it was like a Christmas tree in Chile. The right actually got lucky. If they had been part of the Constitutional Convention, they would have vetoed many of these. Since they couldn't veto them, the left just had all this accretion of a Christmas list, all their different wish lists.
