Can She Succeed?
I hope very much that she will but that depends now on whether or not she can win round some skeptics in the Tory Parliamentary Party. But I think the biggest group of my parliamentary colleagues, regardless of whether they believe it is workable, would like her to succeed. That would be their preferred option. If we change our leader again, we risk precipitating another general election,. We risk becoming a bit of a laughing stock that we can't find a leader and we keep on going through them. The best and most stable thing for the country and the party is that she succeeds.
