What's the Bond Market Interest Rate?
The bond market interest rate is set at two levels. One is the what's known as the Fed funds rate. The other is the price of money that the Federal Reserve will operate with the banking system. If I'm lending to you for a month, it's not very risky. But if I'm lent to you for 10 years, well, then it's riskier. A head of recessions actually switches around.
