What Motivates Students to Pursue Astrology?

I think astrology generally caters towards the fire and air type. Most of the teachers have a combination of fire and air, but it's really the earth and air we need because we're dealing with people on their practical matters every day. We need to have a level of common sense that earth provides often and we also need that water connection. But coming back to your question, the students over the years have had, I guess, every possible combination. They'll have an ascendant at the same degree as my moon or one of the big three. There'll be connections. That's why they're learning from me, even if they don't know it yet.
