I was surprised there wasn't a chapter on only a fool would say that. There's all this like sort of speculation that that's about John Lennon. But then there's who's the narrator, right? Because that's in the narrator is Mr. Steely Dan. And I kind of, there's the phantom protagonist of every Steely Dan song. The most important character that's kind of not in this book or is everywhere in this book is the narrative eye.
