Don't Just Walk Away
Be objective about the solutions to your talking. Can i set some goals? The classic one for this is you and the other person going in together. Data always speaks for itself. You don't even have to argue. Just to present people data and everyone will agree with what you're trying to drive because data speaks louder than the words we are trying to use. Always be ready to take a step back and say, you know what, neither option works for me. That's very bad optics. That will cost you your job. It means yno taking a step back and saying, no. Am, walk away.
