A lot of times the response that's called for in terms of our humanity is to witness what is happening. Coaching as a field has largely always privileged, improving over witnessing and that needs to be re-envisioned. The second assumption that's traditional in coaching that I want to upturn is the emphasis on assertiveness over humility.
