You talked about other places where you've worked overseas, where the absence of a primary process was detrimental to democracy. Most of these systems are parliamentary party list systems. To get placed on a party list in many, many countries, by party leadership, is essentially an act of corruption. The idea of parties nominating women on a list is extremely far-fetched.
