The second you make events or system updateable, you get the whole lot of trouble. Even if you want to, you can no longer trace it back to the user even if you can. So yeah, yeah, I think the best best way I've heard of handling the GPR stuff is the cryptography. It is expensive, but like I'm sure you can like find a way to like optimize it somehow. But that's the best solution I've seen so far.
