The Death of Pre-Millennialism
In Revelation 20, John repurposes Ezekiel 38 and 39 in the chapter before Revelation 20. Some scholars will use it to argue the death of pre-millennial eschatology. I think that is an overstatement. It doesn't kill off at all the idea of a future earthly messianic kingdom. The idea of an earthly reign of the returned Christ doesn't need to be restricted to a system.
