Are there industries or governments that need this sort of forecast and depend on it to make decisions? Yah absolutely. That's one of the reasons the sub seasonal time scale and longer has become sucha interest. So emergency managers actually need to know the general regions that maybe extreme weather might occur a few weeks in advance, so they can fly in all the materials. It isn't until day or two before the extreme weather event that they actually then eno put all those materials on trucks and drive them out where they think they'll be needed.
