John wostall: I worry about nuclear weapons all the time. There's enough security in place that a year ago, two years ago, if e went wrong, you could call the russians or the chinese and work it out. But now we're basically on the knife's edge. The default is no longer away from escalation. It probably can go 50 50. And that means that everything has to go right for us to the worst.
