In October of 1945, Hitler's death still fresh on her mind. Savitri Devi took part in the Festival of Kali at the Kalagat Temple in Calcutta. In traditional films, she wears a necklace of severed heads and a skirt made from severed arms. She left the ceremony convinced that it was now her duty to do what she'd failed to do back in 1939.
