Do You Know if We Can't Afford This Right Now, Will You Do Us a Solid?

The easy thing to do is to say, as long as we understand that i'm worth this much money, then i'm willing to take a hit. It's a lot harder to have conversations later on with clients where you haven't establishedo or value up front. When you pitch to the client, you're saying, well, we're not putting down 500 dollars a day. We're putting down 700 dollars a day because john, jim clarser, whoever it is,. ah, we now know what they charge, and we're budgeting for that. That's the easy way out.
