Chris Anderson: I'm excited to have you on the show. Welcome through a little bit of your journey because we're going to talk startup communities today but I want them to understand how you got into that world. He says he had an early success as a founder of MapQuest, ran a corporate venture capital firm during the boon of late internet in the late 90s. And then found himself down in Raleigh Durham and starting to read about tech stars and YC and said, well if one is fun, 10 should be a complete frickin blast.
