The book of Leviticus teaches the believing remnant of old covenant Israel was saved by grace through faith. The Lord is showing them in this, you know, elaborate system what it takes for sinners to enter into a new creation. There's a forward lookingness to all of these Levitical rituals that is telling us this is what it's going to take at the cosmic level for the Lord to bring sinners into the new creation.
