Some people will definitely hold it against them for a long time, but there's some truth to that. Will I buy stocks that are overvalued? Not usually. If I'm running valuations three years out, five years out and it still looks like a rip off, I won't buy it. It just flat out. Like it doesn't matter how much I love the company. So I don't mind sometimes paying a premium for stock,. But it has to make sense over the next few years.
