The Importance of Setting Expectations
The first thing you have to do is be honest with yourself and figure out, do you enjoy consuming design and art or do you genuinely want to create stuff? And once you've figured that out, I think the next step is figuring out something that you're genuinely interested in within that realm of entertainment. It doesn't have to be a full animation or a game or a film, but go out and make a thing because if you start making stuff before you start your educational journey or trying to get a job, it's going to set you up to succeed a lot quicker.
