The Importance of Being Robustly Demanding

Philip Ettet: There are many values there are many goods that we produce by first of all what we are in ourselves and secondly by the laws we establish amongst us. Love is robustly demanding actually Shakespeare said it all didn't he when he said in that sonnet love is not love which alters when it alteration finds. Now once you begin to realize that goods like love friendship honesty justice and I would say also respect that these things require they're robustly demanding then  you realize the only way in which we produce them for other people individually is by having virtues like honesty or like justice.
