Esther's fate, should she not have impressed the king was ruinous? She was shot. She was used up. She was headed toward historical obscurity and complete and total forgottenness. But that is not her fate. Only one though could emerge from this and it's the girl who we're rooting for because there's something bigger at stake here. Esther is now positioned to do something great when the time is right.
