How to Use Speculative Methods in Teaching

In the chapter about massive open online courses we talk about the creation of teacher bot, which inhabited the Twitter hashtag for the MOOC over the course of this whole five week course. But I also talk about students or learners as able to kind of produce speculative futures themselves if they're given space and a kind of reactive approach on the part of the teacher. This is where there's actually kind of a gap in how people are talking about speculative education for reasons that are probably quite sensible. And the book is also interested in informal education and lifelong learning particularly in museum and gallery contexts.
