A good memoir starts small and uses that small person's life as a lends to open up to a much broader horizon. I'm often, when we read a memoir, it may be about the particular person, but it's supposed to connect to more universal concerns. We're in this age now of serial memoirs, so you don't just write one and then ore, done. So you can always take a second shot at it, more a firth shot at it.
