Animals can re grow nurons in their brain. This is something humans also can't do. We're great at replenishing cells across other parts of our body, but not in the brain. Some scientists suggest it's the price we pay for living longer lives. A long life requires dependable memory. Growing new cells constantly might destroy our ability to form long memories.
