The Cultural War on Twitter

The real tragedy is the cultural wars. The thing I really loved about Twitter at the very beginning was that it was a level playing field. Instead of people being unselfconscious on Twitter everybody became more performative and that was the first snake in the Garden of Eden. There was a phrase back then Facebook is where you lie to your friends. Twitter is where you tell the truth to strangers. Yeah they took my blue tick away.
