Mining Pool Centralization Is a Potential Security Issue
Mining pool centralization is one I've been hearing a lot on clubhouse lately of new Bitcoiners that come in. A mining pool doesn't necessarily control the hash power it directs the hash power and anyone who commits their hash power to a mining pool can always pull that hash parents into another mining pool mine themselves. People who are mining have an economic incentive to want the Bitcoin network to succeed because they're being rewarded in bitcoins so you know one argument is that the the concentration of hash power in mining pools is a little bit misleading as a measure of centralization. There's also been some development by Mac Corralo on helping to to relieve this problem with better hash.
