How to Roll Dice for Online Play
DM: Players who roll dice physically when they're playing online are faster at figuring out their math than the ones that are rolling online. Unless you're fully integrated with an online system like either D&D Beyond or Roll20, and you're rolling dice in there, generally I find that dice rolling in physical is better. He says it's been harder for him to get back to going into in-person play because he loves it more.
