The Uprising in Syria
Everybody in syria wanted reform. And everybody syria had been chafing at thi security state, which which should become corrupt and treated people miserably. Some people wanted an islamic type state with morciarya law. Other people wanted a a secular state,. particularly the minorities, upper classsonies. There wasn't even any agreement over what the true national identity was. So there i was a mess. The revolutionaries themselves did not frame it that way.
