I was always writing things down stashing away these clinical pearls that would come about whenever we were going and seeing the patients. I have heard some more unfortunate cases where the NPs are essentially shadowing during their clinical hours they're not doing the differential or the critical thinking. So it's important to realize it is a very autonomous role if you want to pursue that completed but even though you're functioning autonomously you want to be plugged in with other medical professionals just like any healthcare team should be.
