keyboard mistro has an option, and i'm struggling to remember what it's called at this precise moment in time. It can remove blank space from the start and the end of your text - which will do exactly what you want. Having a clipboard history is like watching somebody try to type with mittens on. If you haven't used it, you don't know that you're missing it. You are running keyboard mistro for other things. My advice is, use its clipboard switcher. But if you're not, use a clipboard switter.
