Is This a New Conundrum?
The controversy is that if you point to Samsung phone at the moon and zoom into its 100 times or whatever, it will super impose a already built image of the moon on your image. So it looks like your image is super clear when in fact that's not the real thing. There was a guy on Reddit who uncovered this by taking a photo of a blurry picture of a moon in it. And then the Samsung phone recognized it and put extra details on there that didn't exist.
